Friday

The students and teachers at William McKinley High School were given an extra two weeks off as "Glee" writers scrambled to re-write a major Finn plotline for early next season following the death of Cory Monteith.

At Comic-Con, the director and cast of "Ender's Game" said they didn't agree with book writer Orson Scott Card's thoughts on gay marriage - he's strongly against it - but the movie isn't about that so come see it anyway.

Thursday

Honey Boo Boo's Mama June said her not-so-little corn muffin is retiring from the world of pageants, at age 7, to concentrate on their reality TV show.

The late Gianni Versace's home is on the block in South Beach. Asking price is a mere $125 million.

Zachary Quinto ("Star Trek Into Darkness") split awhile ago with Jonathan Groff of "Glee" but word just leaked out. Groff starred on Broadway with Lea Michele in "Spring Awakening" and the two are still besties.

Bust-up

Emma Roberts was arrested in Canada for bloodying her boyfriend Evan Peters' nose in a hotel fight. No biggie, they're back together and eager to film the new season of "American Horror Story."

Spit up

Ohio DJ Addison Ulhaq filed a police report against Justin Bieber, claiming the ill-behaved singer expectorated in his face. "Baby, baby, baby, ew."
