Even in Hollywood, the top-10 actresses get paid only about 55 percent of what the top-10 men earn.

But for movie stars, that's still not too shabby.

On Forbes' latest list of the highest-paid actresses, the new No. 1 is Kristen Stewart, who, thanks to a little series of films based on the Twilight books and her "Snow White and the Huntsman," earned a hefty $34.5 million last year.

Still commanding big dollars in second place was Cameron Diaz at $34 million, followed by Sandra Bullock at $25 million, Angelina Jolie at $20 million and Charlize Theron at $18 million.

Veterans Julia Roberts ($16 million), Sarah Jessica Parker ($15 million) and Meryl Streep ($12 million) finished Nos. 6-8, then came Kristen Wiig ($12 million) and Jennifer Aniston ($11 million).

Good thing Aniston made money in television or how would she live?

How Depp is your love?

For all you Johnny Depp lovers out there, Jack Sparrow is flying solo.

He has officially split from his longtime partner, Vanessa Paradis.

A publicist for Depp said in a statement Tuesday that the two "have amicably separated." The statement, of course, requested privacy for the former couple and their two children, 9-year-old Jack and 13-year-old Lily-Rose.

Depp and Paradis met in 1998 but never married during their 14-year relationship. They lived together with their children in France.

Brawlin' Baldwin

A New York Daily News photographer has accused groom-to-be Alec Baldwin of assaulting him outside a marriage license bureau.

The "30 Rock" star says he was only protecting himself.

The NYPD confirmed that Daily News photog Marcus Santos had filed a complaint against Baldwin. The department says Santos claims he was punched while snapping photos of Baldwin and his fiancée, Hilaria Thomas.

A statement on Tuesday from Baldwin's publicist accused the photographer of being the aggressor. It says that Baldwin defended himself after Santos assaulted him with a camera and that no punches were thrown.

Photos on the newspaper's website appear to show Baldwin shoving the photographer.

Forest Thomer, of Cold Spring, Ky., who says he was charged with disorderly conduct after using the word "crippled" to promote a comedian with muscular dystrophy, claims Cincinnati police violated his free-speech rights, and the comedian agrees.

Thomer has a court hearing in a Cincinnati Wednesday. He was cited by Cincinnati police last month at a park after he and comedian Ally Bruener say he asked people if they wanted to "laugh at the crippled girl."

The question was not intended to demean his friend Bruener, but to promote her next comedy show and her allybruener.com website, the two said Monday. Bruener, who uses a wheelchair, said she would approach people after Thomer asked them the question, tell a joke and talk about her next performance. Thomer also would record some of the public's responses for use on Bruener's website, showing people saying, "I laughed at the crippled girl."

Thomer, 25, was cited May 23 on a disorderly conduct charge alleging that he walked into people and shouted obscenities at them, according to court records. He could face up to 30 days in jail if convicted of the fourth-degree misdemeanor charge, a court official said.
