(Ignoble Shakespeare Company, southwest end of Knight Park, Collingswood). Locals put on a free rendition of the likable Shakespeare comedy. Friday and Saturday at 6:30.

The Fifth Folio: Improvised Shakespeare (PHIT Comedy, 2030 Sansom St.). PHIT's newest house teams try their improv chops on the meatiest playwright of them all. 7:30 p.m., Wednesday.

Million Dollar Quartet (Surflight Theatre, Beach Haven, N.J.). Musical reenactment of a recording session with Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis. Tuesday through Sept. 10.

Storyboard: Treasure Island (Hedgerow Theatre, Rose Valley). Storyboard rendition of the Stevenson classic, assisted by a local graphic artist. Friday through Sept. 17.

Which Reminds Me (Act II Playhouse, Ambler). The tireless Tony Braithwaite's one-man show based on theater stories, letters from patrons, and much more. Friday through Oct. 1.

Ah, Wilderness! (East Lynne Theatre Company, Cape May). Eugene O'Neill in a comic vein. A charming production, with good actors who evince a familiar world now much in the past. Ends Saturday. - H.H.

The Gin Game (Cape May Stage). The enduringly popular 1978 Pulitzer Prize winner, about a friendship at a nursing home. Through Sept. 22.

Godspell (Media Theatre, Media). This version features a cast of all ages and backgrounds. Ends Sunday.

Hairspray (Surflight Theatre, Beach Haven, N.J.) 1962 Baltimore is the setting for a crazy musical about dancing, family, and racial segregation. Lots of sparkle, energy, and personality in this production. Ends Sunday. - J.T.

Hero School (Theatre Horizon, Norristown). Interactive theater event between kid actors and audience of all ages, in a quest to achieve superhero status. Ends Sunday.

Other Desert Cities (Bucks County Playhouse). Brooke comes home for Christmas, thinking she has big news - but her parents have some of their own. Celebrity cast in a much-praised play. Ends Saturday.

Wreck of the Spanish Armada (Aerodrome, Cape May Airport). Bill Sterritt's love story/adventure. Monday-Thursday until Labor Day; then Friday-Sunday through mid-October.
