Picabo Street faces charges

Olympic gold medal skier Picabo Street, 44, has been charged with assault and domestic violence by authorities in Park City, Utah, after allegedly pushing her 76-year-old father down the cellar steps and locking him in.

Police say Street went for her dad after he pulled her hair during a fight witnessed by her three children. Street participated in the 1994, 1998, and 2002 Olympics, winning gold in '98.

Gossip petits fours

NBC boss Robert Greenblatt on Wednesday said the network hoped to reunite the entire cast of Friends for a Feb. 21 special in honor of director James Burrows. . . . Accomplished human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, who is famous for marrying George Clooney, gave her first solo one-on-one network interview to NBC's Cynthia McFadden. It will air Thursday on The Nightly News With Lester Holt.
