Cherry Blossom Festival

Japanese celebration of spring culminates on Sakura Sunday, when Fairmount Park's Shofuso House hosts samurai sword-wielders, drummers, dancers, tours, origami-making and just plain picnicking.

Manayunk StrEAT Food

Festival closes Main to cars so strollers can partake of 40 food trucks, more vendors, a moon bounce for kids at Canal View Park and a beer garden for bigger kids on Cotton Street. Event kicks off neighborhood's 12-day restaurant week, too.
