More than 475 attendees braved the snow on Feb. 21 for the 22d annual Butterfly Ball at Vie in Philadelphia. The black-tie fund-raiser hosted by Bancroft, a nonprofit that offers services to people with autism, brain injuries, and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, raised $620,000. Bancroft services 1,500 people in South Jersey, Philadelphia, and Delaware. This year's guest speaker was former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie, a strong advocate and fund-raiser. The Foley family was awarded the Margaret Bancroft Award, while the Corporate & Community Leadership Award went to CoCentrix.
