Wild for Olivia Wilde!

A Glamour magazine photo, as "SideShow" reported Wednesday, shows beautiful, brainy, beautiful Olivia Wilde breastfeeding her hungry son Otis. Soon as it came out, it went crazy-nuts on the Net. Taken by famed photog Patrick Demarchelier, it's in the September issue, released now, because . . . it's World Breastfeeding Week! Of course you knew that. Now, it goes without saying, most of those sharing this pic care deeply about the right of moms everywhere to hook up the young'un when hunger strikes. Or maybe it's fashion: Mom was wearing a Roberto Cavalli dress and heartbreaking Prada heels for the shoot. And there may be one or two people of questionable morals who . . . no, we refuse to believe it! Cindi Leive, editor in chief of Glamour, said on CBS This Morning that the pic captured "a very real situation" that arose on the set. Guess so. Wilde tweeted: "Otis ordered milkshakes. Luckily I had some on me."

Sharks rain on Twitter

Speaking of Twitter, here, courtesy Shawna Thomas of NBC News, are the top three states for number of Sharknado 2: The Second One-related tweets on July 31, when the long-derided, sorry, -awaited sequel debuted: Washington, D.C., with 15.8 percent; New Hampshire, 13.9 percent; and beloved Pennsy, with 11.1 percent. What does it mean? We can't think of anything. A random stat for a random flick. But the invasion continues: Sharknado 2 is coming to an actual theater near you, at 8 p.m. Aug. 21, just for that night, thank God. Theaters such as Riverview Plaza, Neshaminy 24, Burlington 20, and Plymouth Meeting 12 will share the joy. Tix at www.fathomevents.com/event/the-second-one/buy

Mr. Sulu visits Hiroshima

George Takei of Star Trek fame visited Hiroshima, Japan, on Wednesday, the 69th anniversary of the atomic bombing. (At the time of the attack, in which he lost relatives, Takei was 8, living in Tule Lake War Relocation Center in California.) He visited memorials with husband Brad Altman and made a moving speech about "a place fervently committed to peace." Takei has done good work to better Japanese American relations, especially with L.A.'s Japanese American National Museum.
