KEKE PALMER is the new face of BET, hosting her daily talk show, "Just Keke," and she's bringing along a former Daily News Sexy Single for the ride.

Former 100.3 the Beat and 107.9 DJ Kendra G (Sexy Single, class of 2009) serves as Palmer's pop-culture reporter, appearing on the show once a week (although that schedule could change). Her next appearance is at 5 p.m. today, discussing Jay Z, Beyonce and their friendship with the Kardashian-West clan.

Kendra moved to L.A. in February after an Atlanta stint. She hooked up with Palmer's people through a friend.

"Keke is amazing, she has a gift," G said about her boss, the youngest talk-show host on TV at age 20. "I tell her all the time she's anointed. She represents that voice that has been lost for her generation. She's so positive and encouraging. She's younger than me but she has so much wisdom to offer."

But G wouldn't be where she is without Mike Jerrick and the people at "Good Day Philadelphia," who G said gave her her first on-air gig and the confidence to take the next step into TV, including gigs at E! and CNN.

While G left Philly in 2012, she misses her former city, namely "the Rocky stairs," her godmother Patricia Brock and her Abstinence is Kool girls, whom she mentored.

"I loved the city of Philadelphia for embracing me. It's not an easy city to win over, but knew if I could make it there, I could do this," she said.

Yardley guy on El Rey

Yardley's own Neil Hopkins stars on "Matador," the new show from "Star Trek"/"Transformers" scribe Roberto Orci, premiering on the El Rey network at 9 p.m. today. Hopkins plays a CIA agent who recruits a DEA agent to go undercover on a professional soccer team owned by a possibly nefarious businessman (Alfred Molina). Hopkins is best known for his recurring role on "Lost," where he played Liam, the junkie rock-star brother of Charlie (Dominic Monaghan).

Alas, Comcast does not carry El Rey, but you can catch it on DirecTV, or purchase via iTunes, Vudu and Xbox 360.

OUT AND ABOUT

* Actor Chazz Palminteri stopped by Memories in Margate on Saturday night after his sold-out one-man show, "A Bronx Tale," at the Golden Nugget. Palminteri chilled with Jerry Blavat, while he did his live broadcast, and Jerry's daughter Deserie. You heard it here first, people: Palminteri will be the grand marshal and ride with Blavat in the Geatormobile at this year's Columbus Day Parade.

* Before his set at the Pool After Dark (where "Bachelor" Juan Pablo Galavis was seen chatting with a fetching brunette), former "Jersey Shore" star DJ Pauly D grabbed some famous meatballs from Harrah's Resort Atlantic City's (777 Harrah's Blvd.) newest Italian dining concept, Martorano's, where he took a photo with head honcho Steve Martorano.

Intern bonanza

"Live with Kelly and Michael" viewers got an eyeful of hot bikini-clad Christina Rabbitz, a senior at West Chester University and intern on WMMR's "Preston and Steve" show. She won their At Home Trivia Dancer contest, and a video of Rabbitz, who's a massive "Live" fan, was shown on the show.

Newsworthy proposal

6ABC's Action News broadcast caught quite the moment during Fridays credits. As always, Action News airs footage of locals out and about during their end-credit sequence. While most people are too distracted busily belting out the "Move Closer to Your World" jingle (oh, wait, that's just me?), others can see scenes from around the city.

On Friday night's broadcast, viewers caught quite the special moment when Christopher Sante proposed to Mary Kate Eisenhart. Good thing she said "yes" or that would make for some awkward credits.
