Sideshow: Justin Bieber and racist remarks: Imperfect together

Bieber a racist? Justin Bieber is in hot water again, just days after he apologized for a video in which he utters the ultimate racial slur as part of a joke about black people and chain saws.

Bieber a racist?

Justin Bieber is in hot water again, just days after he apologized for a video in which he utters the ultimate racial slur as part of a joke about black people and chain saws.

British tabloid the Sun has uncovered a 24-second vid clip that has Bieber substituting the N-word for girl while singing his '09 song "One Less Lonely Girl," which was written by Bieber's former mentor, Usher. Bieber also is heard joking about joining the Ku Klux Klan.

Bieber made a response of sorts on Wednesday night, posting a photo of a book page on Instagram. The uncaptioned page features a discussion of Jesus' teachings on sin, repentance, and forgiveness and includes several biblical verses. USA Today says the book in question is Jesus Calling by Sarah Young.

Dean, Tori & TV

The Kardashians have so often been accused of living a life of lies manufactured entirely for TV that it's refreshing - to hear another family accused of the same thing.

Anonymous Source tells Life & Style Weekly that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott plan to renew their wedding vows - not in the name of love but to bump ratings for their (un)reality show, True Tori. It's the right move to make since Dean's affair late last year with one Emily Goodhand. (Some have said the woman and the affair are fake, manufactured for the show.) Tori 'n' Dean, who wed in 2006, have tried the same stunt before: They renewed their vows on their previous show, titled, um, Tori & Dean.

A baby for Kourtney

Yet more Kardashians are expected to lay siege to our planet: Kourtney K. and partner Scott Disick are expecting another child. (Isn't it time the G7 summit addressed the K-population problem?)

"She's really excited but she's nervous too," Anonymous Source tells People. "Three kids is a lot to handle! But she's happy - she's always wanted a big family with Scott."

Quote du jour

"And I left it too late and so drove us into a tree . . . and I almost killed Tom Cruise." So Emily Blunt told Conan O'Brien Wednesday night of her attempt to do her own stunt driving on her new pic, Edge of Tomorrow.

Mr. Cruise was unharmed.
