It's not easy living the life of Miley

After dog's death, Miley continues touring, through tears.

THE PAST WEEK'S been rough on Miley Cyrus. Last Tuesday, her beloved Alaskan Klee Kai (kinda like a mini husky) Floyd ascended the rainbow bridge. Wednesday, the singer's tour went on.

By Friday, her mama, Tish Cyrus, had replaced Floyd with a puppy named Moonie.

Cute, but Miley wasn't having it.

Through the weekend, the former Hannah Montana dedicated song after song ("My Darlin" and "Adore You") to her most recently departed dog, singing through tears, thanking fans for their support. During one number, she clung to the leg of a giant, blow-up replica Floyd while wearing a leather two-piece and furry black-and-white striped chaps.

Temporary Tattle was once young. Temp Tatt has deeply loved pets who passed. She's also seen grief take myriad shapes and forms, both in public and in private.

Never quite like that, though. Never quite like that.

Take that, New York

For many months, the Big Apple has had its fun bashing the new operators of Tavern on the Green, two great Philly guys. Jim Caiola and David Salama have long owned, run and lived above Creperie Beau Monde and swanky nightclub L'Etage, at 6th and Bainbridge.

In August 2012, the NYC Parks Department picked the South Philly duo to run the once-vaunted, now-busted Central Park-side restaurant. New York balked. Two guys from South Philly taking over a Manhattan icon?

"What a load of crepe!" a Post headline read.

But lately, Page Six et al are reporting that the downsized and redone Tavern is prettier than ever - and, even though it doesn't open until April 24, already beyond booked for Mother's Day brunch.

For its next trick, the renovated Tavern will serve its steak sans a side of rotten Big Apple 'tude.

Semi Demi

Note to Hollywood ingenues/youngish pop stars/women everywhere: Perhaps dating Wilmer Valderrama is not the world's best idea.

The "That 70s Show" star, whose last noteworthy star turn dates to, well, "That 70s Show," has a way with not-so-gently pushing his lady loves toward the gossip abyss. See: Lohan, Lindsay.

Now, Demi Lovato seems the latest Valder-victim. Yesterday, a buncha lascivious photos, many with the couple's tongues entwined, some with the young "X Factor" judge's NSFW parts exposed, mysteriously leaked onto the Internet.

Now, we're not saying Wilmer did it. But lotsa drama comes with dating the 'rrama.

Couple's retreat

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, eternally engaged, forever adding family, spent the weekend a deux in a Beverly Hills hotel. No kids. Zero out of six. Just them. Brangelina.

(And, one can presume, one-to-several assistants per.)

Box office marvel

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" broke all box office records for April. According to the Associated Press, the Disney sequel, starring Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson, took in a whopping $96.2 million in its weekend debut. (Worldwide, the flick took in more than $303 million.)

Not bad for a comic-book tale about a guy in tights. Second runner-up: some little indie flick called "Noah."

Mama's family

Also over the weekend, "Real Housewife of Atlanta" and songwriter ("No Scrubs" and "Tardy for the Party") Kandi Burruss married Todd Tucker in the couple's home. Friday, the pair, having been engaged for more than a year and having suffered at least one TV season of besotting by Burruss' outspoken Mama Joyce, tied the knot.

RHWA co-star Phaedra Parks attended. So did Mama Joyce, who even gave a toast. Now, who says there are no such things as happy endings on reality TV?
