WHAT IS IT about Alec Baldwin that attracts so much drama? There was the voicemail incident with his daughter, the runway incident with "Words with Friends" and now he has a stalker.

And she's not crazy Hazel from "30 Rock."

Genevieve Sabourin, a Canadian actress, sent the recently engaged Alec a string of emails begging him to marry her, according to a police complaint. She was arraigned on aggravated harassment and stalking charges Monday, a day after her NYC arrest.

Alec and Genevieve met a decade ago on a movie set (apparently "The Adventures of Pluto Nash, in which Alec had an uncredited role and Genevieve was the unit publicist). Initially the two had been friendly, whatever that means, but after nearly a decade, the relationship apparently took a turn for the bizarre in recent days when Genevieve left Quebec for Manhattan and began emailing her proposals. On Thursday, Genevieve crashed a film-screening Alec was hosting and had to be thrown out by security guards.

At Genevieve's arraignment, her lawyer, Julie Sender, said her client and Alec had a two-year "mutual relationship." Ahem.

They allegedly also went to dinner together at least once in 2010.

Alec tweeted a message about the episode Tuesday, writing, "Isn't it odd when an accused stalker is in handcuffs, being taken away by the cops, yet smiles for the cameras?"

As for all her future love notes, they should be stamped: Return to Sender.

Tattle couples

Tattle can't figure out who broke this story first or if it's all crazy talk, but the couples rumor sweeping the always-reliable Internet is that 74-year-old Morgan Freeman is going to marry 27-year-old E'Dena Hines. The National Enquirer reported a few years ago that it was their affair that broke up Morgan's marriage and that they'd been seeing each other since E'Dena was a minor.

And if that's not icky enough, E'Dena's mother, Deena, is Morgan's adopted daughter.

Which Morgan movie title does this story most resemble: "Gone Baby Gone," "The Maiden Heist," "Kiss the Girls" or "The Dark Knight Rises"?

Ricki Lake and fiancé Christian Evans eloped Sunday.

"It was a beautiful moment I will never forget," Ricki told People magazine. "I wasn't anxious or nervous. I was really relaxed and excited."

Ricki has two sons from her marriage to Rob Sussman, Milo, 15, and Owen, 10.

"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria has been named a national co-chair for President Obama's re-election campaign, but she says people still question her right to talk politics.

"People go, 'Who cares about your opinion; you're just pretty,'?" Eva said. "And it's like, 'Why can't I have an intellectual argument about immigration or health-care reform just because I'm pretty?'?"

That line of reasoning almost worked for John Edwards.

The Mexican-American actress, who is working on her master's degree in Mexican-American studies at Cal State Northridge, is also developing a dating reality series titled "All About Love" for NBC, and is co-producing ABC's upcoming telenovela-style TV drama, "Devious Maids," about the scandalous lives of the hired help.

Amanda Bynes may have been popped for a DUI last week but her father, Rick Bynes, has rushed to her defense.

"She was not drunk," Rick told People.com. "I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn't have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn't drink."

TMZ.com, however, reports that Amanda does drink and drinks a lot, and that it has some stumbling, fumbling video to aid its case.

Tattle hopes Amanda gets through this rough patch. We interviewed her a number of times ("Hairspray," "She's All That") and found her one of the sharpest, friendliest, normal young actresses.

Although her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy says it's all a ploy to boost ratings, People says "Dancing with the Stars" contestant Melissa Gilbert allegedly suffered whiplash and a concussion performing on the show.

Wouldn't "NASCAR with the Stars" be safer?

And in a ballsy decision, Miss Universe is reportedly amending its requirements so that transgender women may compete.

Better make that sash in a 42 husky, just in case.
