So is Celebritydom supporting Occupy Wall Street? Quite a few famed types have shown up in N.Y.C. since it all began in late September. And not just Noam Chomsky and Cornel West. Some celebs tweeted support, including Yoko Ono and Alec Baldwin, who, when asked what he'd do as president, roared: "Stiffer penalties for white-collar crime!" Early supporter Lupe Fiasco donated tents, and Russell Simmons brought 500 water bottles. Talib Kweli freestyled. Kanye West showed up, too. Jeff Mangum of Neutral Milk Hotel strummed guitar and sang. Penn Badgley of Gossip Girl fame's sign read: "Bring Back the Glass-Steagall Act!! No to Corporate Greed!" Roseanne Barr called for a mashup of capitalism and socialism not based on "radio talk-show hosts" and "that [expletive] Ayn Rand novel." And much of political Hollywood was there, including Michael Moore, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon (apart from Tim), and Mark Ruffalo

Local lucky person wins insect

A VW bug, that is. See, last Nov. 23, outgoing Oprah Winfrey gave 275 audience members each a free 2012 Volkswagen New Beetle. And one of them is Bucks County's own Ginny Luther! You go, Ginny! You'll pick up the bug at Thompson Volkswagen in Warrington on Thursday morning.

Winehouse's dad to publish memoir

HarperCollins announced Monday that it has bought the rights to Amy, My Daughter, a memoir written by Mitch Winehouse, father of deceased English singer Amy Winehouse. He's been writing the book, on his burdened relationship with her, since her death July 23. "I feel that I need to write this book to tell the true story of Amy and to help with my personal recovery," he said. Proceeds go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which helps children and young adults facing problems arising from drug addictions. The book's release is scheduled for 2012.

Tony Bennett's charmed life

The guy is 85, still has a lovely voice, and just released Duets II, including "The Lady Is a Tramp," a fitting twosome with Lady Gaga, only 60 years his junior. So, we don't know why, but La Gagster agreed to do a Vanity Fair photo shoot right there in the recording studio with famous snapstress Annie Liebovitz, and, yep, got buck naked, and, yep, here comes Tony, bo-de-oh-do, walks right in on them, and . . . and . . . he got naked, too, and . . . no, no, he didn't. He blushed and bowed back out. Gentleman.

Marriage reigns . . . and marriage pains

Got to hand it to Dashton - Demi Moore and boy groom Ashton Kutcher, that is. Courageously refusing media demands for them to break up, already!, they're acting as if they're staying together, no matter what the blogs want! They're still wearing their wedding rings. They went to Yom Kippur services Friday night. And then off on a weekend camping trip to Cachuma Lake in California's Santa Ynez Valley, with A-Kutch's bro Michael and "celebrity florist" Eric Buterbaugh, who twined the stems for their wedding. We dearly love E! Online's sentence: "Photos have surfaced of them together at the campground, but what exactly went down is unclear." . . . Philly-area's own David Boreanaz (Bones) says his marital moonlightings (one of which may have been with Tiger Woods alterna-fling Rachel Uchitel) have actually helped him and wife Jaime Bergman, with whom he'll be married a decade as of Nov. 24. D-Bore has admitted to multiple, um, thingies, and as of May, Bergman was saying she was "still angry" about them. But David tells TV Week it's all been "a bonding experience, in the long run." Better than Krazy Glue. . . . Sting, now 60, and coming Oct. 26-27 to the Tower Theater, tells USAToday that the secret to a lasting marriage is "flexibility." We get it: He and wife Trudie Styler are reputed to enjoy yoga and tantric sex. They've been hitched 19 years, so maybe there's something to it. . . . Continuing in bizarre marriage news, remember Courtney Stodden, the teeny who married Doug Hutchison (Lost) in June when she was 16 and he only 51? Well, whew, she just turned 17. And when it comes to Twitter, she's either demoniacally demented or a marketing genius. On Oct. 2, she tweeted: "Saturated within a superb Sunday as Gods love beams brightly! 'There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear ... ' 1 John 4:18." But on Oct. 5, she tweeted: "The sultry scent of my pink-sugary, cotton-candy bod is purely provocative & pleasing. So glad that it satisfied everyone tonight... ;-) XOs." From born-again to porn again! Girl's got 38,000 followers.

Entirely smallish but importantish, too

Brad Pitt's zombie apocalypse flick World War Z, shooting in Budapest, was raided by a Hungarian antiterrorism unit, which confiscated 85 "highly illegal" weapons used as props in the film. Oops . . . how'd they get here? . . . Beyoncé has announced that her child with loving husband Jay-Z is due in February. . . . We have to see that man do diapers!!! . . . Lots of places said Paul McCartney's bride on Sunday, Nancy Shevell, wore a Stella McCartney dress. Well, Paul's natty blue suit was by daughter Stella, too. . . . Jonah Hill (Superbad) has ended it with gf Jordan Klein. . . . Joey Lawrence (Melissa & Joey), filming a flick in Australia, fell in love with a dog at a pound. He paid for it to travel back to his U.S. crib. Full cost: $1,000! Must love her. He named her Tiffany. . . . Kristin Davis (Charlotte of Sex and the City), 46, has adopted a little baby, Gemma Rose Davis. She thus follows in the footsteps of not only her own character Charlotte, but also Sandra Bullock, Denise Richards, and Mariska Hargitay. . . . Lamar Odom, L.A. Laker ballbouncer and husband to Khloé Kardashian, has made a nifty vid for Nike's "Always On" campaign, with mates LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Russell Westbrook - and soccer deity Cristiano Ronaldo. . . . Paul Sorvino (Goodfellas) is back home after being hit by a car in Manhattan Friday. He is bruised but unbowed. . . . George Clooney was spotted partying with his new gf Stacy Keibler and a whole buncha friends down in Cabo San Lucas. . . . On Monday, "SideShow" misrepresented the spelling of the name of Ringo Starr's wife, Barbara Bach. We're sorry. . . . The actual, and actually very cool, 1949 Triumph Trophy TR5 motorcycle ridden by Da Fonz, played by Henry Winkler, in Happy Days, is to be auctioned off in L.A. on Nov. 12. Not ridden since the show went dark in 1984, and sort-of busticated, it's expected to bring $90,000. No word on whether Winkler himself will soon be auctioned.
