The former Two and a Half Men star has donated $20,000 to a fund set up to help Bryan Stow, the San Francisco Giants fan who on March 31 was beaten in Los Angeles. Seems Charlie is moved by his plight.

Angel Charlie wasn't done. Two days later, he was spotted comforting residents of the Tuscaloosa, Ala., neighborhood of Alberta, ravaged by tornadoes on April 27. "I want [to bring] some money, hope, faith and healing to the area," said Chas, with moral authority that was veritably presidential. He said he was planning an all-star benefit concert for the region.

In other news, Charlie and Brooke Mueller's divorce became official on Monday. TMZ says Brooke gets $757,698.70 in cash, $1 mil for her share of the family home, and $55,000 a month in child support for the couple's twins, Bob and Max.

A Los Angeles County sheriff's rep on Monday announced that singer-actor Rick Springfield, 61, was arrested on suspicion of driving drunk Sunday night while cruising through Malibu, Calif., in his vintage 1963 Corvette. The Australia-born Springfield, best known for his '81 song "Jessie's Girl" and his role on General Hospital, is expected in court on July 5.

Jesse James, the biker and reality TV personality whose name became synonymous with Filth during his divorce from America's Princess, Sandra Bullock, is getting on with his life.

"I'm moving forward, thinking clearly, and becoming a better person," he tells People. "I have started life over."

James is engaged to tattoo artist Kat von D, and he has written a memoir, American Outlaw. Yet, all that pales in comparison with his feelings for Louis Bardo Bullock, the child he and Sandra adopted - the child who is no longer part of his life.

"Talking about Louis almost felt too intimate," James says about his reason not to include the child in his book. "He is so sweet, and I miss him."

The world's most important teen, Justin Bieber, escaped injury (thank the heavens!) when a vicious mob of unbeliebers pelted a total of six eggs at the sexy chanteur during a concert Sunday in Sydney, Australia.

"Luckily," writes the New York Daily News, Biebs "danced his way out of their line of fire and no yolk messed up his hair." Phew!

Mariah Carey, 41, and husband Nick Cannon, 30, who on Saturday welcomed twins, followed up that act of creative love by renewing their wedding vows on Sunday.

The Rev. Al Sharpton conducted the ceremony in Mariah's hospital room, and he blessed the baby boy and girl, whose names have yet to be released.

Meanwhile, Antonio Sabato Jr. and gf Cheryl Moana Marie on Sunday welcomed their first baby, a boy named Antonio Kamakanaalohamaikalani Harvey Sabato III. (His Hawaiian first middle name means "a beloved gift from the heavens.") Sabato, 39, has two kids from previous relationships.
