GLENDALE, Ariz. – If the Flyers ever won the Stanley Cup, which player would show the passion displayed by center Jason Kelce during his epic Mad Mummer Address toward the end of the Eagles' Super Bowl parade?

The answer was almost unanimous in the Flyers' locker room: Jake Voracek.

"It would be Jakey, for sure," smiling right winger Michael Raffl said after the Flyers' morning skate Saturday at the Gila River Arena. "But Jakey would throw more F-bombs, I think. He'd drop a couple more, but it would be fun to watch, for sure."

"Jakey speaks his mind and has a big personality," defenseman Andrew MacDonald said.

Voracek "comes first to my mind," right winger Wayne Simmonds said. "And G (Claude Giroux) as well. A lot of our guys have a lot of emotions and we wear them on our sleeves."

"Jake would be the guy. He's got a lot of emotion packed in there," left winger Jordan Weal agreed. "I think if we won something like that, it would all come out in one big speech. That would be pretty awesome."

Simmonds got a vote from center Scott Laughton to "Jason Kelce" a Stanley Cup championship speech.

"He's a vocal guy in the room, and the fans like him a lot, so he would be my pick," said Laughton, who listed Voracek as his No. 2 choice.

Goalie Michal Neuvirth selected his fellow Czech Republic countryman, Voracek.

Why?

"Because Jake is Jake," he said.

"It depends how deep (into his drinking) I would be," cracked Voracek.

Voracek said he enjoyed every second of Kelce's rousing speech, one in which he colorfully outlined how nobody believed in the Eagles.

"That was a pretty solid one," Voracek said. "It was passionate. He nailed it right on, and it was fun, too."

Voracek was told Kelce will never need to buy another drink in the city.

"I think he drank them all (already)," he said. "Good for him."
