Kacie McDonnell's lil' sis: Budding pop star?

KACIE McDONNELL, the hot "Good Day Philadelphia" traffic reporter, may not be the only camera-ready member of the McDonnell clan.

McDonnell's 15-year-old sister, Isabelle, recently released her first song, "Clarity," on YouTube. To hear her sing, go to ph.ly/clarity.

McDonnell, a sophomore at BVM High School in Pottsville, counts Adele, Ellie Goulding and Bruce Springsteen as influences.

The song, recorded in Baltimore over the summer, is the younger McDonnell's only release so far, but she hopes to record again sometime this year.

Sexy Singles hall of famer Albert Butler, who took the midmorning shift at 900AM WURD, announced his departure from the station he's been employed at for the past six years.

"It was their decision," Butler told me. "I can't speak to exactly why, but it had become a contentious relationship with things internally."

Butler hopes to move into television - he certainly doesn't have a face for radio - but his departure signals great change at WURD.

"Al's separation from WURD was based on plans to reimagine the overall soundprint and programming approach at the station," WURD program director and anchor Stephanie Renee told me in an email. "We've been making incremental changes for several months, mainly consisting of programming and website tweaks, but over the next several months people will see more substantive changes to the way we do what we do. It's about growth, innovation and solidifying our place as a broadcaster and content source."

Renee said there would be further program announcements about the changes coming to WURD on Monday. In the meantime, Phil Allen will sub for Butler.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art announced its new trustees yesterday with a famous addition to the list: concert magnate Larry Magid. Magid and wife Barbara "Mickey" Magid are collectors of American modern art and contemporary craft. Other trustees include Dr. Andrea M. Baldeck, Kimberley H. Gray, Anne F. Hamilton, Bonnie F. McCausland, Ajay Raju and Marsha W. Rothman.

Alex's Lemonade Stand, the national charity founded by dearly departed powerhouse Alexandra Scott, will host its annual Lemon Ball on Saturday at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, complete with a host of fancy auction items, including a "Glee" script signed by Matthew Morrison, Lea Michele and Jane Lynch.

SportsRadio WIP regular Jay Black (catch him on the morning show with Angelo Cataldi and company, and on Big Daddy Graham's late-night slot) hosts a comedy night on Saturday at Marco's Restaurant at Indian Spring Country Club (115 S. Elmwood Road, Marlton, N.J.) to benefit the Evesham Chapter of the Police Unity Tour, which raises awareness about law-enforcement officials who have died in the line of duty. Former Sexy Single Shari Smith, a probation officer from Mount Airy, landed her man right in the pages of the People Paper. Woodville Jackson, a SEPTA train conductor, spotted Smith (who will hyphenate her name) in the 2009 Daily News Sexy Singles issue. The couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony over the weekend.
