Sixers' T.J. McConnell to miss Bulls game to attend father-in-law's funeral
McConnell is averaging a career-high 7.7 points and 3.5 rebounds this season.
Sixers reserve point guard T.J. McConnell will miss Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Bulls at the Wells Fargo Center to attend his father-in-law's funeral in the Pittsburgh area.
The third-year veteran is expected to miss only that game. McConnell missed five games earlier this season with a strained AC joint in his left shoulder. He is averaging a career-high 7.7 points and 3.5 rebounds to go with 4.7 assists and 1.3 steals this season.
