MUCH AS we now have an America in which two sides of the political spectrum access completely different sets of information, we're also developing a culture in which there are celebrities who generate clicks and those who generate revenue - and they're not necessarily the same.

(This is also true for news, BTW.)

The movie website IMDB.com has released its annual ranking of the most popular Hollywood stars, and let's just say it would be news to their agents.

In first place is Margot Robbie, who broke from the pack this year as Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad. At No. 2 is Emilia Clarke, massively popular as Queen of Dragons in Game of Thrones, but so far unproven as a movie lead. At No. 3 is 12-year-old Millie Bobby Brown of Netflix's Stranger Things. The tween actress has never even been in a movie. Tom Hardy charts at No. 4, in a year he didn't release a film and No. 5 is Morena Baccarin, who's starred in a number of geeky TV series and in the popular Deadpool.

A TV star? Yes. A movie star? Not so much.

Rounding out the the top ten in order are Gal Gadot, Alicia Vikander, Daisy Ridley, Haley Bennett and the odd outlier, Leonardo DiCaprio.

If this were a list of Hollywood's 10 most beautiful people, it might have some validity.

Then again, isn't that what every Internet list is?

Gaga is one of a 'Kind'

Per E! News: While

Lady Gaga

visited Harlem's Ali Forney Center for homeless LGBT youth, she acknowledged for the the first time that she was living with post-traumatic stress disorder.

"I told the kids today that I suffer from a mental illness," she said. "I suffer from PTSD. I've never told anyone that before.

"The kindness that's been shown to me by doctors - as well as my family and my friends - it's really saved my life."

Four years ago, when she was 26, Gaga revealed that she had been raped when she was 19. She said she held the secret for seven years because she'd been searching for ways to heal herself.

"I found that kindness is the best way," she said. "The one way to help people that have trauma is to inject them with as many positive thoughts as possible."

"Kindness, to me, is an action of love or a showing of love to someone else," she said. "I also believe that kindness is the cure to violence and hatred around the world. I like to share kindness in a lot of different ways."

Gaga led the children in a brief meditation exercise during her visit. She also donated clothing and other items (hopefully there's not a homeless child now walking around in a meat dress), gave the children hugs and kisses and performed a few of her hits, as well as a cover of "Smile."

The visit was sponsored by The Today Show and Gaga's #ShareKindness Experience.

Oscars to have Kimmel center

Jimmy Kimmel

will emcee the 89th Academy Awards.

It will be his first time in the Academy ringer although Kimmel has twice hosted the Emmys and once hosted the ESPYs.

It's synergy for Oscars network ABC, home to to late night's Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

"Yes, I am hosting the Oscars," Kimmel said on Twitter. "This is not a prank. And if it is, my revenge on the academy will be terrible and sweet."

Bringing viewers back to the Oscarcast will be no easy task. This year's Oscar favorites don't appear to feature the kind of big, popular films that can drive audiences to watch the awards. The top contenders so far are not killing it at the box office.

TATTBITS

*

Angelina Jolie

and

Brad Pitt

have decided how to split up their children.

They're not.

According to court documents obtained by E!, the Jolie-Pitt Six will remain with Angelina. Brad will continue to have "therapeutic visitation" and attend weekly individual therapy sessions, group therapy sessions and submit to random drug tests.

So it really sounds as if Angelina reached an agreement, and Brad reluctantly agreed.

Too bad they nixed Tattle's suggestion for a reality show: Angelina, Brad and Angelina's Dad.

* According to Variety, Rosie O'Donnell is selling her home in West Palm Beach, Fla. It's a 5,700 square foot 6BR, 6.5 BTH property with a guest house and staff quarters sitting on a little more than an acre. Of course it sits right on the water.

Rosie seeks $6,050,000.

Jonathan Nolan tells Variety that the second season of Westworld won't hit HBO until 2018.

So you have at least a year to figure out the first season.
