While our fine city is partially paralyzed by a transit strike due to issues in pension and health care contributions, Forbes released its list of the highest-paid women in music.

There will be no retirement worries with this group. If only we could all give up our jobs and perform worldwide concert tours.

Coming in at No. 5 is Beyonce, who took a "Lemonade" stand and a tour and turned into $54 million.

At No. 4 is Rihanna, with $75 million, from hit songs, sold out shows and a few fine endorsement deals.

Madonna is still going strong at No. 3, with $76.5 million, thanks to her Rebel Heart tour.

Banking $80.5 million at No. 2 is Adele, who sold a lot of copies of her album 25.

And topping the chart at No. 1 is-who else-Taylor Swift, whose 1989 Tour and all other things Swiftian brought her a crazy $170 million. That's double Adele, three times Beyonce.

Combined, the top five women musical artists amassed $456 million. Nice work if you can get it.

As for how Swift decimated the competition, Fox Rothschild entertainment attorney (and Penn alum) Lori Landew told Forbes that Taylor "has been building her fan base for years, and that fan base crosses multiple market segments. It's this ability to appeal to younger and older audiences, and those in between, that makes Taylor such a sure bet with both concert promoters and brands who want to affiliate with her and with the community she has cultivated."

TATTBITS

Val Kilmer says Michael Douglas was "misinformed" when he suggested Kilmer has cancer.

Weird, since Douglas did play a doctor in Ant-Man.

In a Facebook post Tuesday evening, Kilmer said he has "no cancer whatsoever." At a London event on Sunday, Douglas had said Kilmer was "dealing with" throat cancer, which Douglas was diagnosed with in 2010.

Kilmer, 56, said he spoke to Douglas nearly two years ago about recommending a specialist for a lump in his throat. He said he was treated at UCLA and still has a swollen tongue, but is "rehabbing steadily."

The actor said he's made three films in the last year, including one about his one-man Mark Twain play, Cinema Twain. He also co-stars in Tomas Alfredson's Jo Nesbo adaptation The Snowman, due out next year.

* As we come down to the wire on the most painful election season in recent memory, Philadelphia is seeing celebrities as if we were still hosting the Democratic convention. In the past two days, Sara Bareilles was at Penn and Anne Hathaway was at Temple and tomorrow Cyndi Lauper and Debra Messing will be at gay bars, trying to get out the vote for Hillary Clinton.

Donald Trump, meanwhile, went to a Wawa in King of Prussia, after a rally there. Melania Trump was also set to visit Chester County.

* E! News reports that Katniss Everdeen and the director of Black Swan, are dating.

Jennifer Lawrence, 26, and Darren Aronofsky, 47, were spotted sharing a lollipop in New York.

And, no, that is not a euphemism.

* Various online sources are also reporting that Prince Harry is head-over-heels for Meghan Markle, one of the stars of USA's Suits.

* Speaking of dating, variety.com says that Showtime is developing a TV remake of the 1980 Richard Gere film, American Gigolo.

Playwright Neil Labute is set to write. Jerry Bruckheimer will produce.

Showtime recently ended its multi-season run of Gigolos.

Tiger Woods isn't quite ready to return to golf, but we're happy he's returning to Tattle.

The National Enquirer says that Tiger's new girlfriend, Kristin Smith, a Dallas stylist, was recently stopped at Palm Beach Airport carrying a bag with $200,000 in cash.

She told security agents the money came from Tiger.

Smith must be some stylist.
