* FERRELL TAKES THE FIELD. 10 p.m. Saturday, HBO.

When you're Will Ferrell you can do pretty much anything you want. For this mocumentary, the comedian (in photo below) raised money for the charity Cancer for College by playing ball for 10 major-league teams in one day. Phantasy Campers, eat your hearts out.

* THE 2016 MISS AMERICA COMPETITION. 9 p.m. Sunday, 6ABC.

More than three decades after her reign ended in scandal, Vanessa Williams returns as lead judge of a competition that now needs her star power more than she needs its platform. Could there be a better message for young women who may have already spent too much of their lives trying to achieve someone else's ideal?

* PROJECT GREENLIGHT. 10 p.m. Sunday, HBO.

Vanessa Williams isn't the only one coming full circle. Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's show about filmmaking returns to HBO after a long hiatus (and a 2005 stop on Bravo). And it's as fascinating - and infuriating - as ever, inadvertently illustrating the obstacles facing women and minorities in Hollywood.

The search for a Latino super group begins in a new show produced by Simon Cowell and Ricky Martin (who'll also be a judge).

* DOLL & EM. 10:40 p.m. Sunday, HBO.

The quirky collaboration between actress BFFs Dolly Wells and Emily Mortimer continues. In this second season, their semi-fictional selves set out to write and direct a play about their semi-fictional selves.
