* GOLAN THE INSATIABLE.

9:30 p.m. Sunday, Fox29.

Young Goth girl (Aubrey Plaza, "Parks and Recreation") finds a friend in the title character (Rob Riggle, "The Daily Show"), a horned "godlord" from another dimension. Animated comedy was plucked from Fox's late-night animation lineup and recast with new voices. Plaza's is particularly perfect.

* HALT AND CATCH FIRE. 10 p.m. Sunday, AMC.

The first season of '80s-set drama about cloning IBM's PC was more of a slow burn, but the second brings the show's actresses to the fore. It's 1985 and Cameron (Mackenzie Davis) and Donna (Kerry Bishé, at right in photo with Davis) are in business together, gradually discovering the power of an online community that may be there for more than games.

* OUTLANDER. 9 p.m. Saturday, Starz. Season 1 ends in a tough-to-watch episode in which Jamie and Claire struggle with the aftereffects of his captivity.

* THE SECRET LIFE OF MARILYN MONROE. 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Lifetime.

Two-night miniseries has an awkward setup - the world's longest therapy session - but a solid cast. Kelli Garner ("Pan Am") is the latest to transform from Norma Jean. Susan Sarandon plays her mother, Dean Morgan her second husband, Joe DiMaggio.
