St. Joseph's University offering disabled vets a business bootcamp

St. Joseph's University is accepting applications for its inaugural Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities, to begin this spring in partnership with Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families. Up to 25 veteran entrepreneurs will be accepted.

St. Joseph's University is accepting applications for its inaugural Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities, to begin this spring in partnership with Syracuse University's Institute for Veterans and Military Families. Up to 25 veteran entrepreneurs will be accepted.

The program, founded in 2007 at Syracuse's Whitman School of Management, is a nationally recognized entrepreneurship curriculum offered free to post-9/11 military veterans with disabilities.

It consists of three phases - online classes, on-campus instruction and year-long mentorships. Assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration, corporate partners and donors allows the program to be offered to the veterans at no cost.
