Dan Gross: West Chester lounge is right down Kirstie's Alley

"DANCING WITH the Stars" runner-up Kirstie Alley did a little dancing Saturday night at the Brickette Lounge (1339 Pottstown Pike) in West Chester, where she spent a few hours after pitching her Organic Liaison diet program nearby on QVC.

Alley sipped cosmos and was happy to pose for photos with fans while she hung out at the bar. The actress also posted photos of the outing on her page on WhoSay.com. Earlier Saturday the "Cheers" alum shopped at the H&M store at the Exton Mall.

Octomom to fight radio host

 Nadya "Octomom" Suleman has found a challenger for her June 29 Celebrity Boxing bout at Pennant East (141 Crescent) in Bellmawr. She'll fight Jen Posner, of 102.9 WMGK's John DeBella show, in three, one-minute rounds with giant, soft gloves.

Suleman told us that the kids will be home in Los Angeles while she travels to town for the fight, which she says is gonna be fun. Now working as a fitness coach, Suleman says she hopes to launch a children's fitness program.

"To me it's a vacation to be away from my kids for an hour," Suleman said. "I miss them, I want to be with them, but to have a few hours away is amazing to me."

Suleman says that she is "a person turned into a parody without permission" and dislikes the nickname Octomom, but admits that she has no choice but to embrace it in order to make money.

"I shrugged it off and laughed at it" Suleman told us. "But what am I going to do? I have to generate revenue to take care of these kids. I don't take myself seriously."

She also answered the question of whether she had planned to pose nude or do porn, as had been rumored.

"Absolutely absurd," she said. "Me, of all people. I have had one boyfriend my whole life, 12 years ago. What kind of sick people would try to insult a mother who doesn't believe in anything casual?"

Andy hams it up with Chesney

Eagles coach Andy Reid joined country star Kenny Chesney onstage Saturday at the Linc, where he presented Chesney with an Eagles helmet. Chesney gave Reid his cowboy hat and kept the helmet on while performing "Boys of Fall," which he used in a documentary that he made on high-school football. Playing to the sold-out crowd, Chesney also wore a Phillies hat during the show.

Popped! festival on sale today

The Shins, Girl Talk and Rakim are among performers at the POPPED! Music Festival Sept. 23 and 24 at FDR Park, in South Philadelphia.

The Hold Steady, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Panda Bear, Patty Crash, Mates of State, Zee Avi, Black Landlord, Cults and Kreayshawn are also on the bill for the two-day festival of live bands, DJs and comedians produced by Popped! Festival Inc.'s Alexis Rosenzweig and Larry Magid Entertainment.

Looks like Sean Agnew, of R5 Productions, and Avram Hornik, of Four Corners Management - which owns the three Drinker's locations, Lucy's Hat Shop and Noche - are pretty confident that their planned concert venue, Union Transfer (10th & Spring Garden), is going forward. At least two shows, Wild Flag on Oct. 19 and The Sea and Cake on Nov. 9, are already listed online as taking place at the venue, which will be at the longtime site of the Spaghetti Warehouse. Agnew and Hornik are partnered with Jim Glancey, of New York concert promotions company Bowery Presents, among other investors.

'Buffy' actor at El Vez

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" actor Nicholas Brendon, his twin brother, Kelly Donovan, who was also seen on the show, and several friends dined Friday at El Vez (13th & Sansom). Brendon and Donovan were in town for the Wizard World Philadelphia convention. Loyal PhillyGossip.com commenter Professor Smart E. Pants, Ph.D., a huge "Buffy" fan, saw the actors at El Vez.

* Earth, Wind & Fire, who will perform on the Parkway during the Wawa Welcome America! show July 4, connected with the local Parkinson Council, out of Bala Cynwyd, after meeting World Wide Stereo owner Bob Cole. Cole met Maurice White and Phillip Bailey from the group in January and told the guys about his friend Barry Milberg, who has Parkinson's and chairs a summer-solstice event tomorrow at Table 31 at the Comcast Center and a golf classic next week at the Philadelphia Cricket Club to aid in fighting Parkinson's. White told Cole that he also has Parkinson's. The Parkinson Council will auction off the opportunity to play golf with Bailey, as well as a stay at Atlantic City's Borgata and other goods. Earth, Wind & Fire will also do a private in-store event June 30 at World Wide Stereo, in Montgomeryville.

* LeSean McCoy, Jeremy Maclin, Trevor Laws, Jamaal Jackson and Victor Abiamiri are among Eagles teammates of Todd Herremans who are expected Thursday at the offensive lineman's anti-bullying fundraiser, No Place for Hate, at SugarHouse Casino. The event runs 7 to 10 p.m. on the casino's outdoor waterfront. Jammaar Chaney, Moise Fokou and Eldra Buckley are also scheduled to appear at the party, for which tickets are $30 online at dmwt.ticketleap.com.

In February, Herremans, Jackson and DeSean Jackson appeared on "The View," along with Upper Darby middle-schooler Nadin Khoury, the victim of a savage schoolyard attack, which inspired Herremans' continued anti-bullying efforts.

McCoy will also be introduced as the new spokesman for the Kisses for Kyle Foundation Thursday at McFadden's Ballpark, when the children's cancer charity honors Vince Papale with its first Spirit of Kyle award.

Dobbs doc screens Thursday

Tommy Conwell, Greg Davis, Nik Everett and Skip Denenberg will perform after the screening of "Meet Me On South Street, The Story of JC Dobbs" at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Franklin Institute as part of the fourth Philadelphia Independent Film Festival.

There's also a Q&A with filmmaker George Manney, former Dobbs owner John Travis, 102.9 WMGK's Debbi Calton, and Jeff Simon and Billy Blough of George Thorogood's Destroyers. Rocker Charlie Gracie and Stephen Caldwell, of the Orlons, will be on hand as well. The film documents the long-running Philly rock club JC Dobbs, at 3rd & South, which reopened recently as The Legendary Dobbs.
