Seinabo Sey. The 23-year-old Swedish Gambian songwriter brings a blend of African rhythm, mood R&B, and Nordic pop smarts to her big-in-Scandinavia hit single "Younger." Tuesday at Underground Arts.

Sun Kil Moon, "Garden of Lavender." After releasing the masterful Benji and an under-heard Christmas album in 2014 - not to mention trolling Philadelphia's the War on Drugs in a one-sided feud - Mark Kozelek is back to work with this cinematic acoustic epic, the second 10-minute-plus track (after the plugged-in "Ali/Spinks 2") from the forthcoming album Universal Themes.

Alejandro Escovedo. The great, creatively restless Austin, Texas, rocker is working on a new album with R.E.M.'s Peter Buck and Scott McCaughey. This time around, he's touring as a duo with violinist Warren Hood. Thursday at Ardmore Music Hall.
