Weekend Planner: Sunday July 13

Sports fans have reason to rejoice. The Phillies and Riversharks are at home; there's a star-studded charity basketball game at Temple U. and, making the Weekend Planner staff drool, there's Lucha Libre Pro-Wrestling tearing it up in South Philly.

The Benjamin Franklin Bridge will be closed for about an hour Sunday morning for the start of The American Cancer Society Bike-A-Thon. If you need to crossover between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m., take the Walt Whitman or Betsy Ross Bridges.

Music festivals continue in South Jersey with the XPN Xponential Fest bringing the top names in grown-up pop and rock to Wiggins Park in Camden and the state New Barbecue Championship And Anglesea Blues smokin' down in North Wildwood.

Weather

Partly sunny Sunday with a high of 90. Winds from south at 5 to 10 m.p.h. will help take the edge off increasing humidity. Showers and thunderstorms could roll into the region as night falls. Down the Shore it will be slightly cooler, with temps hovering near 80. Water temps will range from the mid-60 to the lower-70s, said Jim Eberwine of the National Weather Service.
