Phila. groups launch global trade program

The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, a nonprofit export advocacy group, and the Consular Corps Assoc. of Philadelphia, which promotes diplomatic and commercial relations, are partnering on a program to help local companies expand globally.

Called the Embassy Series, the program launches Feb. 25 at Top of the Tower, 1717 Arch St., with keynote speaker Germany's senior commercial diplomat in the United States, Hendrik Barkeling. He is head of the economic and commercial section of the German embassy in Washington.

Tickets are $40 for members of the World Trade Center, the Consular Corps and the German American Chamber of Commerce members, $45 for nonmembers, and $50 at the door. For more information, contact Graziella DiNuzzo at gdinuzzo@wtcphila.org or at 609-680-7670.
