Maguire Hayden buys vacant Wayne lab building from Merck

An affiliate of Maguire Hayden Real Estate Co. has acquired a former life-sciences laboratory building in Wayne from a unit of Merck & Co. for $7.9 million, according to documents filed with the Chester County recorder's office.

MH Devon Park LLC completed its purchase of the 155,200-square-foot facility at 466 Devon Park Dr. from Merck Sharp & Dohme Corp. on July 22, according to the documents.
