Brickstone Cos. plans a restaurant, shopping and four floors of offices in a pair of buildings it's redeveloping on the 1100 block of Chestnut Street beside its big mixed-use project where a Target Corp. store is to open.

The 20,080-square-foot Swartz Building development will incorporate a former furniture business at 1108 Chestnut St. that was most recently home to Armand's Record's. It will accommodate offices with ground-floor retail, Brickstone managing partner John Connors said.

The building at 1110 Chestnut - most recently a cell phone store and nail salon - will be redeveloped into a two-story restaurant, Connors said. The spaces are now being marketed to potential tenants.
