Penn Virginia raises quarterly dividend

Penn Virginia Resource GP LLC of Radnor boosted its quarterly dividend by 1 cent to 42 cents a share. The dividend is payable Aug. 14 to shareholders on Aug. 6.

The company is the general partner in Penn Virginia Resource Partners L.P., which manages coal properties and related assets and operates a midstream natural gas gathering and processing business.

Shares of Penn Virginia Resource Partners were down 89 cents at $29.75 in early-afternoon trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
