Aramark was also a Super Bowl winner

Philadelphia's Aramark Corp. was among the winners at Sunday's Super Bowl in Houston's NRG Stadium.

"Thanks to the incredible game the Patriots and Falcons played, Sunday was the single-largest food and beverage and retail sales day in Aramark's sports entertainment history," Aramark chief executive Eric Foss told analysts Tuesday.

Aramark had nearly 3,500 employees working during Super Bowl week in Houston, where Aramark was the NFL's exclusive retail-merchandise partner at more than 70 locations throughout the Houston area, Foss said.

The company did not give a revenue figure for the event.

Foss said Aramark is already looking forward to next year's Super Bowl at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, where the company also has a food-service contract.
