The Boardroom: New chairman at Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

Joel L. Frank, managing partner and executive committee chairman of Lamb McErlane P.C., West Chester, has been elected chairman of the board of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a national charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting and finding a cure for pediatric cancer.

Debbie Carlos has been named to the board of Fare & Square, Philabundance's nonprofit grocery store in Chester. She is head of Sunoco's litigation team and its management of all Sunoco and Sunoco Logistics litigation matters.

The Philadelphia Ship Preservation Guild, a nonprofit dedicated to the preservation and operation of historic vessels, has elected the following board members: Matt Schoettler, president of KAMP Associates; Stephanie Moran Baldwin, managing director of Strategic Corporate Associates L.L.C.; and Richard F. Holland, vice president of human resources for Human Capital Consulting Partners.

Gigi Hyland, executive director of the National Credit Union Foundation, has been named to the Berenstain Bears Financial Literacy Program advisory board.

Trice Medical, an early-stage medical device company in King of Prussia, has elected William Hawkins to its board. Hawkins was president and CEO of Immucor Inc. from October 2011 to July 2015 and is currently its lead director. Prior to joining Immucor, Hawkins was chairman and CEO of Medtronic.

New Leash on Life USA, a prison dog-training program that saves the lives of at-risk shelter dogs while helping inmates learn to train and care for the animals, has elected the following board members: Fred Catona, founder and chief marketing strategist at Bulldozer Digital; Lou Giorla, former commissioner of the Philadelphia Prison System; John Melcher, vice president, human resources, at AmerisourceBergen Corp.: and Jill Schubert, president of United Parcel Service, Chesapeake District.

Darilyn V. Moyer has been named president-elect of the American College of Physicians, the national organization of internists. She is professor of medicine, executive vice chair for education in the Department of Medicine, internal medicine residency program director, and assistant dean for graduate medical education at Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University.

James K. Wujcik has been named to the board of trustees of the Joseph Fund, a Camden-based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Ministries of St. Joseph's Pro-Cathedral. He is regional director of business banking for Santander Bank.

Harris Feldman, chair, commercial litigation, for Parker McCay in Mount Laurel, has been elected chair of Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region's Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties regional advisory board.
