Coworking-space operator WeWork is moving into the glass-sheathed building 15th and Walnut Streets already occupied by the Cheesecake Factory, James Egan, an executive managing director at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, said during a presentation on Center City real estate Wednesday.

The 1430 Walnut St. building's 13,882 square feet of office space are on the top floor of the three-story structure, according to a listing on the website of MSC Retail Inc., which is handling leasing at the property.

WeWork spokeswoman Kirstin Hallett and MSC managing director Jacob Cooper declined to comment on the lease. Egan had no further details.

The space is the second Philadelphia location for New York-based WeWork. Its 30,000-square-foot branch in the Northern Liberties neighborhood north of Center City will open April 1, Hallett said.
