The Museum of the American Revolution, the Philadelphia nonprofit museum set to open in 2017, has hired Christine Spencer as director of marketing and public relations and Grace Lahneman as leadership-giving manager. Spencer had been chief marketing officer for the Atlantic City Alliance and prior to that vice president of marketing and communications at the National Constitution Center. Lahneman had been individual-giving coordinator at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

Philadelphia Works, a nonprofit Philadelphia workforce-development organization, has hired Hugh Bailey as chief operating officer. He had been workforce-services director at Ashlin Management Group Inc.

Schramm Inc., a West Chester manufacturer of mobile, land-based drilling rigs used in the global energy, mining, and water industries, has named Thomas G. Strauss chief financial officer. Strauss replaces senior vice president and CFO John Bellis, who will retire effective Oct. 1 after more than 30 years with the company. For the last five years, Strauss has served as CFO of Arbill Industries Inc., a Philadelphia-based manufacturer and distributor of safety equipment and supplies.

Siebert Brandford Shank & Co. L.L.C., a New York minority-owned municipal underwriting firm, has hired Rasheia R. Johnson as senior vice president. She will lead the firm's Philadelphia office. She had been vice president in the investment banking-public finance group at Loop Capital Markets L.L.C.

Gordon Morewood has been appointed chair of the department of anesthesiology at Temple University Hospital and Temple University School of Medicine, and anesthesiolgist-in-chief for the Temple University Health System. Morewood, who also holds an appointment as associate professor of clinical anesthesiology at the medical school, has served as Temple's interim chair of anesthesiology since April.

Philadelphia Gas Works has hired Janis D. Shields as external communications manager. She had been public-information officer for the Cecil County (Md.) Health Department.

Entertainment Cruises Inc., Philadelphia, promoted Fred Hoelsworth to sales director from corporate account manager.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art has hired Jonathan Peterson as director of development. He had been director of development at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.

Katherine Telepun has been hired as vice president of sales at Cloudnexa, a Navy Yard-based, cloud managed-services provider that is an authorized reseller in the Amazon Web Services Partner Network. She had been director, business TV, at Comcast.

Houghton International Inc., a Valley Forge developer and manufacturer of specialty chemicals, oils, and lubricants of metalworking fluids and services, has named Marcello Boldrini senior vice president of Houghton International and president of Global Metals. He will be a member of the company's executive committee and also will join the boards of Houghton Japan and Korea Houghton. He had been senior vice president and general manager for Momentive's global phenolic resins business.

Madison Risk Group, a specialty construction property and casualty insurance brokerage firm, has hired Dan McCarthy as a producer in its King of Prussia location. He had been marketing manager at Engle-Hambright & Davies Inc.

Rite Aid Corp., Camp Hill, Pa., has promoted Ken Martindale, president and chief operating officer, to the newly created position of CEO of Rite Aid stores.

Jeffrey Edgin has been named senior vice president, business development, for RightCare Solutions Inc., a Horsham medical-technology company that uses software tested at the University of Pennsylvania's nursing school to help hospitals figure out when to send patients home to reduce readmissions and optimize post-acute care delivery. Edgin had been regional vice president and senior executive leader at Siemens Healthcare Information Technology

Bob Heinrich has been named chief information officer and a member of the president's cabinet at Stockton University, Galloway Township. He had been executive director of Computer and Telecommunication Services.

Carlo Pelino has been named chief of the Eye Institute of Salus University's Chestnut Hill satellite practice. Pelino is a member of the clinical faculty at TEI.

Inspira Health Network has appointed Patrick Nolan chief operating officer of Inspira Medical Center Woodbury. Nolan had served as president of Warren Memorial Hospital at Valley Health in Winchester, Va.. - Mike Zebe
