Melinda K. Holman, chairman of Holman Automotive, has been named chair of the regional board of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey. Holman will lead the regional board for a two-year term. She succeeds Lon Greenberg, chairman of the board of UGI Corp., who served as chair from 2013-2015.

William R. Sasso has been appointed a member of the board. He is chairman of Philadelphia law firm Stradley Ronon.

Raymond Skinner has been elected to the board of the Reinvestment Fund, a nonprofit rebuilding distressed towns and cities through the use of capital and information. Skinner is president and CEO of East Baltimore Development Inc.

Mike George, president and CEO of QVC Inc., West Chester, has been elected chairman of the National Constitution Center's Corporate Council. His term will begin on Sept. 1.

Achievement House Cyber Charter School CEO Don Asplen has been voted to the board of trustees of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools.

University of the Arts, Philadelphia, has elected the following board members: Bruce Kardon, president and chief investment officer at Conservest Capital Advisors Inc.; Eric Felix, president of Children's Dental Health Associates; civic leader Amy H. Goldman, recently as a member of the Radnor Township School District Strategic Planning Committee, as chair of the township's School District PTO/PTSA District Wide Initiatives; and Nathaniel P. Hamilton, owner of NPH Photography.

The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America, Cherry Hill, has elected James M. Anderson chairman of the board. He is a lawyer and the managing member of Anderson Crawley & Burke, a law firm based in the Jackson, Miss., area.

Compass Philadelphia has elected as chair of its board of directors Brent J. Martin, general manager of Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, Philadelphia. Martin succeeds Daniel E. Rhynhart, litigation partner at Blank Rome L.L.P. Compass was founded in Washington in 2001 to provide business consultation to nonprofit organizations.
