Revel says casino sale could be final by month's end

The sale of Atlantic City's bankrupt Revel Casino Hotel for $110 million to Brookfield Asset Mangement could be completed by the end of this month, Revel attorneys said in a filing asking for court permission to shorten the deadline for certain claims on the bankruptcy estate.

A separate Revel filing said that $110 million sale to Brookfield means that certain unnamed executives will share $700,000 in bonuses. Revel and Brookfield will seek bankruptcy-court approval of the deal at a hearing scheduled for Tuesday. - Harold Brubaker
