Texas law firm joins Fox Rothschild

Center City law firm Fox Rothschild L.L.P. said Tuesday that it had merged with Dallas-based David & Goodman P.C., an 18-lawyer firm focusing on litigation, real estate, corporate and family law and other matters.

Fox Rothschild managing partner Mark Silow said the firm for some time had wanted to establish a presence in Texas because of its vibrant economy and because many of the firm's current clients have interests there.

"It is a great economy; they are booming," Silow said of the Texas legal market. "We have many clients who are doing business in Texas or who are interested in doing business in Texas."

The merger with David & Goodman will bring the number of lawyers at Fox Rothschild to around 620. - Chris Mondics
