New members of the Chester County board:

Mike Appleby, senior vice president at QVC.

Ben Carr, vice president at CubeSmartSM.

Barbara R. Dyson, vice president of human resources at Vertex Inc.

Colleen Labik, public relations coordinator for Wawa Inc.

Mike Tsao, product analyst at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.

New Montgomery County board members:

Stephen Brennan, principal of Hamilton Lane.

Chris Coloracci, managing director at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc.

Gregory Dries, senior vice president at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney L.L.C.

Elvis Phillips, internal sales at Vanguard Financial Advisor Services.

Tim Schanne, director at ActiveStrategy Inc.

Roger LaMay, general manager of WXPN, the music and noncommercial radio service of the University of Pennsylvania, was elected a member director of the National Public Radio board.

Margaret J. Amoroso of the Pennsylvania labor union and employment law firm Willig, Williams & Davidson, was appointed a hearing committee member on the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She is managing attorney in the firm's Media office.

Attorney Salvatore M. DeBunda, co-managing partner of the Philadelphia office of Archer & Greiner P.C., was re-elected a board member and vice chair of Encore Series Inc. (ESI), the nonprofit organization that presents the Philly Pops orchestra.               Timothy School, a Berwyn school for people age 5 to 21 who are diagnosed with autism, named the following members to its board:

Deborah Branden, vice president of human capital at Emtec Inc.

Brooke Grandwetter, an educator.

Suzanne Vande Veer, a board member for the Junior League of Philadelphia and Cosmopolitan Club of Philadelphia.

Yardly Jenkins, a board member of Presbyterian Children's Village and Arch Street Preschool.

Nadeem Bezar, a partner with Kolsby, Gordon, Robin, Shore & Bezar, was named president-elect of the North American South Asian Bar Association. The association serves more than 300 lawyers from across the United States interested in issues facing South Asian Americans and South Asia.

Cradles to Crayons, a West Conshohocken-based nonprofit group that provides new and gently used everyday essentials to disadvantaged children living in low-income homeless situations:

Bob Aglira, president of RBA Strategic Directions L.L.C., and adjunct professor of business strategy at Temple University Fox School of Business.

Daniel M. Brown, account executive with Johnson, Kendall & Johnson in Newtown.

Margaret F. Goldfarb, senior vice president with U.S. Trust in West Conshohocken.

Christine Reimert, senior vice president of Devine + Partners in Philadelphia.

Chris Sullivan, managing director at Barclays Capital in New York.

R. Bruce Walsh, vice president of CBIZ Insurance Services in Plymouth Meeting.

Keith Peterka was reappointed to a two-year term on the board of International Financial Reporting Standards Small and Medium-sized Entities Implementation Group. The SME Implementation Group (SMEIG) is an advisory body to the International Accounting Standards Board. He is a shareholder and a member of the Professional Standards Group at Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C.

Kenneth Davis, senior director of Duane Morris Government Strategies in Philadelphia, was reappointed by Gov. Corbett to the Ben Franklin Technology Development Authority board of directors. The authority, created in 2001, provides seed capital, technology commercialization and entrepreneurial support services to technology businesses in Pennsylvania

Terence Farrell, chair of the Chester County Board of Commissioners, was elected chairman of the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission.    Tom Duffy was inducted as president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the oldest trial lawyer organization in Pennsylvania. He is founder of Duffy + Partners, Philadelphia.

Alan Hartl, chief executive officer of Lenape Valley Foundation, a Doylestown nonprofit provider of human services, was elected to the board of the National Council for Community Behavioral Healthcare, a Washington-based professional association.
