as president and chief executive officer. He had been president of Straw Hat Pizza, a California franchise company, and held senior-level executive positions at Accenture Ltd. and GE Capital/Genstar. He is also founder of IMG Universal, a real estate development company in Walnut Creek, Calif., cofounder of Atomic Tangerine, a global security company, and is the proprietor of two restaurants.

Airgas Inc., the Radnor distributor of industrial and specialty gases, has named R. Jay Worley vice president, strategic pricing. Worley had been vice president, communications and investor relations.

Comcast Cable, Philadelphia, has named Ruben Mendiola vice president and general manager of multicultural video services. Mendiola had been general manager of Latino programming and Spanish business development at Dish Network Corp.

Petplan, a Philadelphia-based pet-insurance company, has hired Chuck Virtu as director of information technology. Virtu had been vice president of brokerage systems solutions for Commerce Bank and International Business Machines Corp.

Stephen Castro has been promoted to chief financial officer of Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey & Philadelphia, a Maple Shade nonprofit organization that employs those with disabilities and disadvantages. Castro had been vice president of finance. As CFO, he will oversee the accounting/finance, human resources, and information-technology departments.

Cooper University Hospital said Adrienne Kirby has been appointed chief operating officer. Most recently, she was president of Franklin Square Hospital Center in Maryland.

Carol R. Coles has been hired as chief credit officer at The Bank of Princeton. She had been senior vice president/senior private banker for Wells Fargo Bank and Wells Fargo Advisors in suburban Philadelphia.

Valley Green Bank, a community bank with headquarters in Philadelphia, has promoted Mark Biedermann to executive vice president and chief lending officer from chief credit officer. Wesley Astheimer, an executive vice president, was named chief credit officer from chief lending officer. Alexander Korostin was promoted to vice president of information technology from network administrator.

Linda Dillman has been hired as chief information officer for QVC Inc., West Chester. She had been senior vice president, global IT, at Hewlett-Packard Co.

Glenmede Trust Co., a privately held and investment and wealth-management firm, has hired Jon Stanley as a senior portfolio manager. Stanley had been managing director at U.S. Trust Corp.

Dudnyk, a Horsham health-care marketing and advertising agency focusing on biotech, biopharma, and medical-device companies, has hired Drew Desjardins as senior vice president, strategic planning and account management. He was executive director, U.S. Specialty Customers, at Pfizer Inc.
