Hoping for full houses in anticipation of Sunday's Super Bowl, the region's casinos are going all out to attract game revelers this weekend.

Cash giveaways, special drawings, and food specials are among the benefits to watching the Big Game between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers at their venues.

Atlantic City's Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa will host a $100,000 cash giveaway Saturday and Sunday between noon and 9 p.m. A player must have a My Borgata Card to participate. The casino's MIXX nightclub will host a Big Game afterparty with DJ Paul Castro.

Food and drink specials will be flowing all day Sunday at the four Caesars Entertainment Corp. casinos at the Shore: Caesars, Bally's, Harrah's Resort, and Showboat.

At Bally's, the Vixens dancers will perform during halftime, while prize drawings for autographed sports memorabilia, Weber grills, coolers, and restaurant gift certificates will take place every half hour. Harrah's Resort's Viking Cooking School will be hosting a Sunday tailgate party class.

Players who visit the Trump Taj Mahal poker room Sunday can win cash prizes - up to either $5,000 or $25,000 - in the Big Game Football Challenge.

Resorts, Atlantic City's first casino, will have the game on at its Gallagher's Burger Bar. Special promotions will go on all day Sunday, including a $25,000 Big Game Slot Sweepstakes from 1 to 5 p.m. on the casino floor.

Parx in Bensalem will have the game on all big screens at its sports bar, 360, and restaurant, jax. The game also will be shown throughout the new Parx East property next door.

Chickie's & Pete's at Parx is offering a $50-per-person buffet with lots of food favorites - crab fries, mussels, pizza, etc., but no alcohol included in that price - for the big game.

"No reservations needed," Parx spokeswoman Carrie Nork Minelli said.

On Sunday, Parx will offer Big Game Free Slot Play, in which guests can win extra free slot play during the Super Bowl.

Harrah's Chester Casino and Racetrack in Delaware County has a "Redeem your EndZone receipt for slot cash!" promotion. A gambler who spends $10 at EndZone, the casino's sports bar, will get $5 in free slot play.

SugarHouse Casino on the Delaware River waterfront will have a Super Bowl buffet and cash prizes all day Sunday.

It also is throwing in something for Eagles fans, whose team didn't make the big show.

They will "have a chance to win Eagles home-opener tickets" for the 2011 season, said general manager Wendy Hamilton.
