Obama signs Travel Promotion Act into law

The Inquirer has a good explainer of a story today about the Travel Promotion Act, which I have written about in several Winging It columns over the last year. The act, passed by Congress by healthy margins, will add a $10 fee for visitors from countries that don't need visas to enter the country. The story anticipated President Obama would sign the legislation today, and an anouncement from the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau received a little while ago confirms that he did sign it. Read the story here.
