Update: Tornado warning

Tornado warning for northern Delaware as heavy rains pound away.

No sightings have yet been reported, but a tornado warning now is in effect for northern Delaware until 5:15 p.m.

The National Weather Service says Doppler radar has detected a thunderstorm capable of producing a twister.

Meanwhile, a tornado watch remains in effect for Philadelphia and Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery Counties, all of the state of Delaware and most of South Jersey.

Over 1.3 inches of rain has fallen in Wilmington in the last three hours.
