Will Smith and Jimmy Fallon perform ‘It Takes Two’ on ‘The Tonight Show’

Yesterday marked the return of Will Smith to "The Tonight Show," the West Philly native arriving just days after host Jimmy Fallon parodied the intro of "The Fresh of Bel-Air" in a shot-for-shot remake. To top that stunt, the duo performed a beatbox rendition of Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock’s 1988 track, “It Takes Two.”

Yesterday marked the return of Will Smith to The Tonight Show, the West Philly native arriving just days after host Jimmy Fallon parodied the intro of The Fresh of Bel-Air in a shot-for-shot remake. To top that stunt, the duo performed a beatbox rendition of Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock's 1988 track, "It Takes Two."

"We have a lot in common, Fallon told Smith. "You're a famous rapper, I'm a classically trained beatboxer."

Whatever his training level, Fallon ended up using iPad recording app Loopy to recreate the beat to "It Takes Two." Eventually, he gets to a good starting point, and the track's seemingly endless appeal flows from there.

Still, though, it's tough to beat the skit from Smith's last appearance on Fallon: "Evolution of Hip-Hop Dancing," in February last year.
