WATCH: Keegan-Michael Key takes over PSU football team meeting
Homecoming weekend in State College is already a big deal but when this year's honorary Grand Marshal is a Keegan-Michael Key, it takes the event to another level.
Key, who earned his Masters degree from Penn State and is known for his Comedy Central Show "Key & Peele," took over for head football coach James Franklin in Thursday's team meeting.
Key laced up his navy blue Nike sneakers, PSU shorts and pull-over jacket and glasses to match Franklin's demeanor to a T. Franklin even gives him a few pointers on how he normally conducts his meetings.
Just as Key walks into the room, almost every single player jumps out of their seats and completely loses their minds. From the pep talks down to the firm handshake, Key's impersonation didn't disappoint.
