If that irritating Kmart Christmas commercial that hit the Internet a full month ago wasn't enough of a reminder, Tuesday's episode of The Colbert Report served as your official alert that the holiday season is just around the corner.

Halloween is still a few weeks away, but Colbert has been reading ahead of the class and boiling over the fact that the first night of Hanukkah falls on Thanksgiving this year. So, he dedicated an entire segment to complaining about the overlap.

In a rare treat for hardcore Colbert fans, the host breaks character while laughing uncontrollably after drawing on his face with sharpie.

Happy early Thanksgiving/Hanukkah, everybody.
