Taylor Swift freaks out about Ryan Adams cover album

Taylor Swift turned total fangirl when she found out singer and songwriter Ryan Adams was doing a cover album of her record-breaking “1989” record.

Taylor Swift turned total fangirl when she found out singer and songwriter Ryan Adams was doing a cover album of her record-breaking "1989" record.

After Adams posted a photo of Swift's "Welcome to New York" lyrics on Instagram, Rolling Stone Indonesia editor Hasief Ardiasyah tweeted about the cover project.

Swift caught wind.

And soon thereafter Adams confirmed that the cover album was, indeed, being recorded as they tweeted.

Adams is a Grammy-nominated, alternative-country artist best known for his 2000 song "New York, New York." Keeping true to the Big Apple theme, he released a video clip rocking out to his "Welcome to New York" Swift cover, to really give Swift something to freak out about.
