Taylor Swift and Kanye West make amends at 2015 Grammy Awards

Ever since Kanye West ran up on stage at the 2009 MTV VMAs to interrupt Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech for Best Female Video, the two have harbored a low-key feud that has since become the butt of many a joke. Last night, however, that beef appeared to have been squashed.

Ever since Kanye West ran up on stage at the 2009 MTV VMAs to interrupt Taylor Swift's acceptance speech for Best Female Video, the two have harbored a low-key feud that has since become the butt of many a joke. Last night, however, that beef appeared to have been squashed.

Photos from last night's Grammy Awards have surfaced of the two addressing one another publicly for the first time since that fateful incident in what appears to have been a pleasant conversation. Even Kim Kardashian appears to be pleased with the way things went:

All this is surprising, of course, because as of June 2013, West had shown almost no remorse for the incident, and even dissed Swift again in an interview with the New York Times. Back then, he claimed that interrupting Swift's speech had "led me to complete Awesomeness at all times."

Via the NY Times:

"It's only led me to complete awesomeness at all times. It's only led me to awesome truth and awesomeness. Beauty, truth, awesomeness. That's all it is. I don't have one regret. If anyone's reading this waiting for some type of full-on, flat apology for anything, they should just stop reading right now," Kanye said.

Prior to that interview, West had made an apology to Swift over the incident. However, he later rescinded that apology, saying "I have, as a human being, fallen to peer pressure."

Now, though, all appears to be well between the two celebs. West, after all, went ahead and focused his attention on this year's winner for Album of the Year, Beck.
