Sens. Cory Booker and Orrin Hatch band together on ‘Parks and Recreation’

Tuesday's episode of NBC's Parks and Recreation, "Ms. Ludgate-Dwyer Goes to Washington," took us to Washington, D.C., meaning, like last time, political cameos galore — including one from New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker alongside Sen. Orrin Hatch. And, as it turns out, there's only one thing that matches the pair's passion for bipartisan politics.

"Sen. Booker and I are concerned about our nation's resources, and that absolutely includes our national parks," Sen. Hatch tells protagonist Leslie Knope.

"But that's not all we have in common," Sen. Book continues. "In fact our real passion is Polynesian folk music."

The name of the band, of course, is Across the Isle.

Hatch goes on to invite Knope to Across the Aisle's upcoming Georgetown performance, which cost a mere $8 per ticket in advance, but "$10 at the door."

"Fiscal conservative — I love this guy!" Booker said.

Other cameos from the Senate included John McCain, Barbara Boxer, Kirsten Gillibrand, as well as one of Knope's biggest heroes in Washington, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

Booker's appearance comes in around the 8-minute mark, just after John McCain.
