Philly-based Meek Mill video shoot turns into fight after rival rapper appears

Rapper Meek Mill returned to Philly this past weekend to shoot a new music video, with the shoot quickly turning into a street fight following the arrival of a rival rapper.

Rapper Meek Mill returned to Philly this past weekend to shoot a new music video, with the shoot quickly turning into a street fight following the arrival of a rival rapper.

At some point during the shoot, Louie V Gutta reportedly showed up with an entourage and proceeded to make his way through Meek's crowded set. From there, it appears that words are exchanged before a member of Gutta's posse gets assaulted.

TMZ reports that the unnamed victim, who was standing directly behind Gutta, was not punched or slapped, but hit with the butt of a handgun. Just after the sound of the hit echoes, the crowd begins to flee.

However, no shots were fired, and police eventually arrived to the scene to calm things down.

Gutta, for his part, has since released an Instagram video claiming that no one received a pistol whipping, and asks that observers "stop the rumors":
