Phillies fan and cancer survivor Julie Kramer returns to 'The Ellen Show'

Remember major Phillies fan Julie Kramer who was surprised by Chase Utley on "The Ellen Show" last year?

The 23-year-old Kramer returned to "The Ellen Show" today where she announced she was cancer free. Kramer also name-checked a recent fundraiser she co-hosted with 97.5 the Fanatic's Jon Marks and former host Sean Brace, called Striking Out Cancer where they raised $8,500 for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. To celebrate Kramer's good deed, Ellen DeGeneres said that she and Shutterfly would also donate $10,000 to CHOP.

Kramer, who hails from Tabernacle, NJ, recently completed a proton therapy treatment. She threw out the first pitch at the Phillies home opener on Monday. Utley caught the ball for her, but we preferred the charismatic Kramer trash talking Ryan, and warning him she was gunning for his spot in the line up.
