Pastor wants you to know ‘Frozen’ promotes homosexuality, bestiality

Anyone who actually saw Disney’s hit animated movie Frozen can tell you it’s a cute story wrapped in slick visuals, all of which adds up to a pretty entertaining time. If you didn’t see it, though, you may just jump to the conclusion that it promotes homosexuality and bestiality to our young children. For some reason.

Anyone who actually saw Disney's hit animated movie Frozen can tell you it's a cute story wrapped in slick visuals, all of which adds up to a pretty entertaining time. If you didn't see it, though, you may just jump to the conclusion that it promotes homosexuality and bestiality to our young children. For some reason.

Colorado radio pastor Kevin Swanson of the Reformation Church, at least, did just that on a recent episode of his show alongside co-host Steve Vaughn. As per Swanson's take on the children's film, it would seem that Frozen has "something evil happening" and may "indoctrinate my 5-year-old to be a lesbian" or "treat homosexuality or bestiality in a light sort of way."

Oh, Kevin. Poor, misguided Kevin. If he'd seen the film (which he did not), he'd know that the story that raked in $1 billion worldwide centers on the young protagonist Anna going on a quest to find her evil sister Elsa. Essentially, it's a story that shows love doesn't exist only between a man and woman, but can also be sisterly. Which, to the Christian radio host ear apparently means that the Devil likely purchased Disney in 1984.

No, seriously:

"You wonder sometimes, I'm not a tinfoil hat conspiratorialist, but you wonder sometimes if maybe there's something very evil happening here. If I was the Devil, what would I do to really foul up an entire social system and do something really, really, really evil to 5- and 6- and 7-year-olds in Christian families around America?...If I was the Devil, I would buy Disney in 1984, that's what I would have done."

Swanson added that Disney is "one of the most pro-homosexual organizations in the country" as a negative in a society where we give awards for that kind of progressiveness. So, you know, that's the type of person we're dealing with.

Frozen, meanwhile, took home an Oscar for Best Animated Film and Best Original Song and delighted millions of people of all ages.
