Meek Mill not happy with fan holding Drake sign at Brooklyn show
The Meek Mill vs. Drake feud may be long-settled for the artists involved, but the fans seem to believe a different story. And Meek, for his part, doesn’t seem to appreciate that much.
The Meek Mill vs. Drake feud may be long-settled for the artists involved, but the fans seem to believe a different story. And Meek, for his part, doesn't seem to appreciate that much.
While performing Monday at Brooklyn's Fool's Gold Day Off festival following his Made In America set Saturday, Mill took note of an audience member in possession of a Drake sign, which he took as a provocation. Naturally, after a summer of being the butt of the industry-wide joke that was the Meek vs. Drake beef, he didn't take it too kindly.
"Put that Drake sign up again," Mill told the audience member, Billboard reports. "Don't come in here disrespecting Meek Mill. Don't act like this the Internet. You standing next to a shooter now."
Mill also ordered a member of his team down to keep an eye on the apparent Drake fan, and reportedly attempted to enter the audience himself at one point during the show.
"I want you to stand next to him all night," Mill told his crew member from the stage.
Most recently, Mill appeared on Rick Ross' newest mixtape, Black Dollar. Drake's highly anticipated Views from the 6, meanwhile, reportedly will see a release sometime this year.
